Deafen

You target one creature you can see that has ears. Make a Spell Contest. If they fail, they become Deaf. You can then Sustain the spell to continue the effect. They can repeat the Test at the start of each of their turns and you can continue to Sustain each they fail. If they tie, they are Deaf for 1 round and the effect ends at the of their next turn, and they are not Deaf, or the effect ends immediately, if they succeed.
