Increase your Toughness by 1 for each Exhaustion you have.
If an attack that targets your Resistance hits you, you can choose one of the following effects. You can do this a number of times equal to your Stat Score. * Gain 1 Adrenaline * Remove 1 Stress * Gain 1d4 Health
Description
With bodies of metal, gemstone, and wood, Constructs are often thought of as emotionless machines. However, that is not the case, as many who have spent time with them will tell you, they’re filled with just as much emotion and personality as anyone else. The Constructs were machines created long ago that somehow survived The Collapse. As magic began to return to Ooboro, the constructs began returning to life. The magical machinery that controlled them before the Collapse is now gone. As they awake now, they find themselves free. Since they had always been enslaved, Constructs are now either overwhelmed by their new freedom of choice or relish in each and every choice they can now make. Constructs function as any other humanoid race and are subject to the same ailments, conditions and exhaustion. While they technically don’t breathe, they do require the same environment as a regular humanoid to survive, nor do constructs need to eat to survive. They do not sleep the same way other Lineages do to recover, however they do “power down” to recover, similar to how others sleep.
Appearance
Constructs do not vary much in appearance, as they were once all constructed at the same time before The Collapse. Since reawakening, they have looked to find a sense of individuality and have thus customized their bodies. Constructs can be made of, and can interchange materials easily, different varieties of wood, metal, and gemstone. They will often paint themselves with wildly different colors and patterns to help distinguish themselves as unique individuals.
